Salisbury Plain is a chalk plateau in central southern England covering 300 square miles, (roughly the size of the Isle of Wight) and is owned mainly by the MOD and used extensively for Military training. The plain is famous for its rich archaeology, including Stonehenge and more recently the Amesbury Archer. Access to Salisbury Plain is regulated by Military Byelaws. This is my journal of the stuff you can see (If you look hard enough).
